Just picked up the last 3 Proline Suzukis avail. through our local Toro distribution. The enviro nuts may have won the war but I'll still be polluting w/these sweet mowers for years to come.

I just picked up a Suzuki powered toro proline today too from Kooy Bros. here in Toronto. I already have a kawasaki powered one but always wanted the Suzuki one. So, I got one before they go out of production. I started it up today and love it. Really sweet engine.

Joe, what did you pay? I got mine at W.E. in Mississauga. I think they were $1260. How many does Kooy have left on the floor?

Fareway, I'm Just curious why the flap is on the front, for blowout?. We have a Suzuki powered machine also and it is great, I like the spark plug protector that comes on it a little better than your homemade deal.

I paid $1275 for my non BBC Suzuki model at Kooys. I am surprised that you got them from W.E. as they told me they had no more in stock. At kooys, he had one non BBC model left for $1275 and a BBC model for $1355. I saved the $80 and had them install a small steel bracket on the non BBC model that stops the blade but keeps the motor running, so it's just like BBC but without the added weight and loss in deck height. I might be looking at selling my Kawasaki powered toro I bought last year.

What is that metal bumper type contraption on the front of the mower?
