Hi everybody. I am a new member of lawnsite and i just wanted to say hi. i own a Vermeer SC252 and i gotta say, it is a bad machine. i beat the crap out of it and it just keeps on trucking. i, personally, have put 400 hours on it plus i do all the maintainance on it too. i bought it new from the guys at vermeer southeast sales and service in orlando. good place, good people. i have rolled the machine over on it side, broken drive chains, cut through concrete, hit steel, wound up like 3/4 inch power cable in the cutting wheel, burned through countless sets of bearings, pulled down trees, and pulled up stumps. it still runs and looks like it is a nice new piece of equipment. vermeer rocks. lawnsite rocks! see ya's around! Pauly Corp rocks!

there is a nice little pic of me and my stump eating machine doin' work son.
