Well, I finally remembered the camera and managed a few pics of my irrigation pump house and pumps.
More pump house picutures!
That looks remarkable similar to many of the larger systems I've maintained before at Condo assocations.
Rustic but cool
What sort of pressure switch is that?
bic, am i mistaken or is that a drain 90 on the discharge side of that pump house?
IN other words "The $hitter'$ Full!"
Honey bucket looking.
From the picture, I might agree with you. I will look closer next time I am down there. The potential to cobble in these situations when quality help is not on sight would amaze you. On the other hand, it is entirely possible, that what is there is just a different brand of fitting that is pressure rated. This setup is designed to run at 135psi under a load of 240gpm plus the saftey factors above that. I don't believe anything short of a sch 40 fitting would survive that.
It certainly looks like it. A long sweep 2" dwv 90
I'm with Doc... looks like an outhouse.
def an outhouse
A lot of equipment jammed in a small space. I like a bit more room to work in.
