Do you have to be licensed to apply fertilizers and herbecides? I currently only apply these chemicals to my own yard, but in the future would like to offer this service in my lawn business, and would like to do it legally. I see where those who apply pesticides have to have a license, but I do not see any info for fert and herbecide apps in Mississippi.

check the second or third thread in this section starting a business in all states.
laws differ from stste to state.
here in fla. you can apply straight fert w/o being a lic- cert operator
remember pesticides = insecticide, herbicides and fungicides
