question about sub- contracting out jobs

    I have a customer that want me to install a in ground sprinkler system. I not license to perform the job, I just cut grass. I found a company which will complete the install job. is legal for me to contract him for service if Im not a legal contractor? I live in maryland.

    yes, tell them you will pay them ex amount to do the install and save about 5-10% for yourself. As long as they have all of the necessary paperwork, i.e. insurance etc, you will be fine.
