    - would a striping kit get rid of the ever noticeable tire stripes? or is there any thing else i can do to get rid of the stripes that my two rear tires leave.

    - what psi do you keep your tires at? would a tire that is pumped up to the the max be better for the turf?? i seem to be leaning ruts in some of the lawns that i mow.. i don't mean huge ruts, but they have become noticable over the course of the year.

    thanx in advance

Psi can make a difference overall. Low will increase traction but can tear out grass on turns and overinflation can actually reduce the hanling and make mower slide easier. Especially dangerous on hills. This is true of any rider. As for the striping kit I'll let people who have more experience field that one, we didn't have one on our mowers.

Changing your pattern should help a little.

Or are certain portions of the property holding water?
