When you guys say bed prep, what exactly does that mean for an established bed? Also, is it reasonable to do mulch first and then go back and add in plants? I have a customer that wants mulch and hasn't decided yet on what they want to plant.

    Thanks!

It will be easier if you plant first and then mulch. Planting after mulching will make more work for you.
