I thought I had 2-3 bottles of Opti 4 ( an expensive oil they reccomend with the Scag I bought last year). I just changed my oil and realized I only had about 1/2 a bottle of new oil, when it takes about 2 to fill up. My question is, will I be safe using 1/2 a bottle just 'til tommorow? When I changed the oil after about 70 hours today, it seems that just as much came out as what I put in 70 hours of use ago. So I'm thinking I'll be ok 'til tommorow. What do u guys say?

The most I would do with it would be to load it on the trailer. My first stop would be to buy more oil. It might work fine with how it is, but why would you want to risk it?

I suppose the bottles of oil are quart size. If you only put 1/2 bottle in the engine this is only 1-pint. It would only be 1/4 full and I would not mow with it until it is filled .

This why there are markings on the dip stick eg. Add -- Full etc.

i am pretty sure the reason u bought the opti4 was because it double your engine warranty if u run it without the right amount i am sure u void both warrantys

i'd be afraid to run it with only a half of a bottle in it.
