i have mixed thoughts...i used 2003 up until this past year...i guess it doesn't matter unless you use it for payroll... I know you have to update each year for that.

I use it for payroll and always do the update, yes its pricey but I view it as my most important tool I use in my business.

I started using QB online this year. You are always up to date and access it on any computer. With payroll option it's $74 a month. I love it. You can try it for free for 30 days.

i updated I believe every year but once since '03. I usually like the changes. I budget for it so it goes into my budget every year.
