I'm a sole proprietor and I am running Quickbooks 2014. When should I upgrade or do I even need to? Thx, John

We use QB online. I like it. It's helpful to be able to pull info on the mobile app while in the field.

Not sure you need to.Running 2015, with over $2 million in sales, they want you to update just not sure what's so much better

I'm still running QB 2011, no plans of upgrading at the moment.

You should be ok I use an older version as well. Being as you are a solo guy definitely should be ok. If you use it for any payroll that would be only reason I would upgrade simply for payroll changes and rates.

We were using 2016 and they forced us to upgrade because we use it for payroll.

I have been using QuickBooks online and has been great! Think it only cost $10/mo

Yep. QB online for me as well. Never worried about upgrades, or data storage. And have everything on my phone while I'm in the field.
