I agree with riggle. It's a little technical and all you want them to know is you're the best and can solve their problems and make life easy for them so tell them that.

I considered a tv spot at one time with two neighbors meeting at the mailbox and one says hey....your lawns looking awesome as usual....and then the other person goes into how shes using "Top Dawg Lawn Care" and how great life is. Same would work in a radio spot.

Kinda like that AARP commercial where the lady days "Oh that costs less than a postage stamp"

Don't be afraid to mimic or rip off a national ad for ideas.

Actually the DJ or in this case the host changed it up some, but I thought it sounded good. He still says "they" instead of we because he is the show host and does not have any affiliation with us.

Everybody needs to remember this is just a very small AM local town station so it just has local news and stuff that is happening around town. You can even call in the mornings for birthday wishes.

I am going to run 500 now and the other 500 in a couple of months after I see if I pass my irrigation exam on March 9. It sounded good to me on the air, but I did not think about it being too technical for the regular person so I hope they do not get confused.

We did some adds on a station w the demographic we wanted to hit, not a single call.
