Been there done that. We had 22" here last month in about two days. Got hit again this weekend with 12" had 2" in an hour on Monday and a tropical depression today. Nice thing though is no hills to channel it down. Although alot of it just sits there for weeks. At least we get to enjoy our state bird... the skeeter!
Rain, what rain? :( Could have been a nice swim home.
Today we had the hardest rain I have ever seen here, after 30 minutes everything was flooded. The highway home was going about 20, the photos below are taken in my neighborhood, luckly we built on a hill and had no damage.
We prayed for rain last year, guess we need to be more detailed next time.
