So I have upsold a couple ESP smart clocks in the last week. I have had one at my house and a couple other residence for a couple years, but not in the mainstream. What would you charge additional for this clock over and ESP with wireless rain sensor? I talking labor cost and follow up labor cost? Do you evaluate the client and determine if they could handle this thing? It seems I have better luck upselling after I get the job and mention the controller to them. That way its not reiterating a sales pitch. The last couple have been pretty excited about their irrigation, so I think they will have the motivation to handle the learning curve. If not, thank god for contractor default.
