    Rainbird model ESP-TM

I have 1 zone not working (zone 4). I replaced the valve outside yesterday but still no go. Was hoping it would be an easy repair. It will not work in auto or manual advance mode. Hoping I could get some pointers here to help me out. Could I run two zones together for the time being so I don't have to keep manually watering?
    Thanks for the help

I would post this in the irrigation forum.

I know with my system you can skip zones. I think it says "open" when a zone is not on. Try and skip the zone. It should do this automatically.

Depending on the type of valve you got, most of them can be operated manually by turing the solenoid CCW. If it has a bleeder valve on it you can open that instead of turning the solenoid and that will also open the valve. If you are asking can you tie two solenoid together ....yes...most controllers will run 2. You need a volt meter to debug the problem. May have lost ground connection or live wire. Start at the controller and do a continuity check on each valve wire relative to the white colored ground.
