Not a bad list. How about a list of charactors in golf. I followed Bradley Keegan around several holes last year at the championship at East Lake. His preshot routine is one of a kind and quite entertaining. Phil has a **** eating grin even when his game has gone to heck so you can't help pulling for him. As far as old timers, Arnold Palmer has my vote. Watched him ace the same par three two days in a row up in maryland several years ago. Class act.

My favorite has alaways been Tom Watson.

My top 5 rankings would be...
    1 Jack Nicklaus
    2 Tiger Woods
    3 Tom Watson
    4 Ben Hogan <never saw him play>
    5 Arnold Palmer

yes, Jack Niklaus, Arnold Palmer Tiger Woods and so on are obviously on most, if not all lists, but currently I just love watching Phil Mickelson and have always been a Greg Norman fan...so, not really ranking any, just thought I'd post some of my favorites

    great topic Charles :clapping:

Palmer is who brought golf to the forefront. When Nicklaus first came along the fans actually "booed" him. I alaways thought Norman would take the rains from Nicklaus/ Watson, but the dominate player didn't come along till Tiger Woods. Mickelson still has a few miles left in him, but in the past he alaways seemed to lack the "heart" to win. Lee Trevino looked like a 14 handicapper, but he could post some low scores. I used to gamble with some fellers that played exactly like Trevino, they were hard too beat.

I used to dislike Tom Watson. He consistently played well and that got in the way of Jack winning a lot more:laugh:
