I recently acquired a 48" Walk behind Ransomes mower, it needed a engine and I have replaced it. My question is how do you adjust the deck height? it is set at about 3-3/4" I want it a litttle lower, the washers on the front caster wheels are all on top which would be the lowest setting. I noticed the rear axle has a slot cut in the frame where you can lower the back of the mower but it seems none of the holes in the frame will line up when you try to pivot the axle plate upward, the back of the axle plate does not seem to have other holes to move to so I assume that only the front of the axle plate moves to lower the rear axle. can anyone give me any insight on how to get a lower setting on this deck? Thanks
