just finish my biggest sprinkler job.

81 heads, 13 valves, we finished the project in a total of 112 man hours. How did we do ? I think we pulled in 2400 feet of 1 inch pipe and about 1100 feet of 1 1/4 inch pipe, rain sensor back flow preventer only one spray zone.....total price 7150.00 plus tax. Go ahead gimmie your input... OH buy the way I had fun too !

case mini sneaker

dont use saddles just a sprinkler T with 2 funny pipe elbows and swing pipe

use all poly except at the bfp then use either pvc or copper

for me that would be 2 days.

we can do 40 rotors/day. completely installed, backfilled and tested. includes timer, valve boxes, raking and re-seeding/tamping property.

112 man hours to me means 4 labors and me for 10 hrs/day about 2 days.


the price seems good...please post pics of project...interested to see 'how you did it'.

turf dude,

the big ones are ALWAYS fun!!! remember that.

when we did the river park, i was having a blast...the labor was like 'what do we do...'

big projects just mean bigger pipe and bigger fittings (also bigger f#*k ups, too if you are not careful).

that was total payroll hours for the project, including drive time breaks, which that week it was 95 degrees and we were taking a 10 minute break every 55 minutes, company policy.....
