Rates for dethatching

    Hey all what rates should one be charging for a Smithco 60" (riding rake) diesel for municipal work, operator only. TIA

    The only specific's are the work is for the city and one needs a charge out rate, it's not to complete a portion of an existing or larger contract. They want to hire us a custom operator for a few weeks to rake parks when and if the snow goes away!!

    You mean that the city is going to provide the equipment and just wants you to provide the operator? If this is the case what is the hourly wage you look for when figuring out what to bid on a job?
