I am looking into buying a backpack blower and am interested in the Kawasaki KRB700B. One of my local dealers says the general quality of the Kawasaki blowers is better than Redmax (he sells both), but the Redmax 7001 moves more air (cfm). I can get the Kawasaki for a little less money. Can any of you give me your perspectives on these two units? Thanks.

I have the redmax eb7001, what a beast, all i can say, built solid and starts on the first or second pull no matter what the temperature outside is, great machine.

Only problem with Kawi blower is the intake gets clogged with leaves. This starves blower causeing motor to rev higher and burn out quicker. IMO get the redmaxx.

I demoed the Kawasaki and was not impessed to say the least. I own a Redmax EB7000 and a Redmax EBZ8000 and they are tops.

If those were my choices, I'd probably get the RedMax.

    See guys... I'm not anti-RedMax.... :)
