    Hey hey all
I am not new here but I have been away for a while.
I first joined back in 2007 when I was working for Weed-man as a Lawn tech.
I left them in 2010 and opened my own business in 2011 "Ducke's Lawn Care Services".
Well its been a very interesting year to say the least, Crazy or maybe even Insane. Start up was the easy part. I took care of all the paper work and legal stuff in January and February thus giving me March and April to get some customers lined up etc. March was a bad month as things had to be put on hold pretty much as my Mom got very sick and then past away on April First. So some very valuable time was lost but later made up.
The season was very good to me with lots of interesting jobs as well as the regular Mow jobs. Then in August my Father In-Law ( my biggest supporter and first customer) fell ill and past away. Only lost about a week as I know he would have wanted me out there mowing.
I also learned a valuable lesson on depending on Real-estate Agents for jobs.
The work is good but they are only temporary and end once they are sold. So I lost about 8 jobs in about a two week period. Ouch did that hurt.
Now that things have slowed down a bit I have had time to actually start to look ahead to next year.
I just need to get though this winter, I have 7 snow removal jobs signed up and am hoping for some more but that alone will not pay the bills so I am now looking for a part time job for the winter to help out.
I have missed the lawn site and the Plow site but hope to be able to spend a little more time up here once fall clean ups get done.

Well welcome back then, sorry to hear about your family, and good luck to you this winter.
