i recently looked into a small house to buy, has good room for all of my lawn and landscaping equipment, problem is its, $800k!!! yikes. The house is a small older farm house, with a turn around driveway. Alone, it would be a 200-300k home in NJ area, but the property is not the 3/4 acre it appears to sit on, it also includes 13 acres of fields on both sides/back of the lot. Would it be likely the owners seperate or subdivide this out so that i could purchase the house on its existing 3/4 acre and then sell the land for whatever amount? 99% chances are a developer will buy it, knock it down and build a development on the 13 acres.
