Some pictures of a project we finished last fall. Versa-Lok wall & tumbled pavers.
Looks great guys.
Looks like a good job, but the color couldn't be any uglier.
LOL, I have to agree. I can't stand brick red.
Let me guess, homeowner was either italian or french?
looks like you have a similar Bobcat set-up to us, what are you running?
I need to try versa-lok next year... of course I said that last year. What's your paver of choice?
1st pic looks like you dug back quite a bit -- did you have some grid pulls for the surcharge?
very nice job
Looks good! My only concern is that you brought the area next to the house up with native soil and judging by the compactor in the pics I can't see how the soil can be fully compacted. (unless there is something there I don't see) In that case I would have brought that whole area up with modified stone w/ at least 2 pulls of grid. Just my opinion though.
Do you have any close ups?
I think it looks great!
Somehow, you can almost see Mr Homeowner coming home at dusk after 6 ot 7 beers and backing right over the edge.
I was thinking the same thing there, Chris. Looks like the mini is dumping the native stuff right behind the wall. foz, I couldn't tell from the small pic if you were using drain stone behind the wall either.
I would like to do more hardscape and construction projects.
I see drain stone but it looks like it only comes up to the second level of the wall. I like the front entryway, I am partial to versa-lok I love it. I hate when you have to construct one on the property line though !
