you can get the redmax straight shaft (heavier duty than curved) with the exact same motor as your 2401 whip that has a edger head on it . this way down the line when one wears out you can use parts from it for the other
ive been looking at it at weingartz and its a real solid machine
im getting it or the stihl fs110 , the stihl has like 8 more cc
and rock solidly built so its a tough choice
but stihl only has one year warranty and redmax two
but you read so many guys say go for the most power with a stick
and with the stihl you can use multiple heads on the same machine ,
such as hedge trimmer / whip head / and a few others . like im thinking a edger head plus a hedger attatchment so can use it for hedges too
also i want two cycle for sure and not exactly sure on the two cycle status of the stihl because alot of places like bouliers on utica and moravian have only stihl 4 mix now . so still thinking on it
I would love to get a similar one to my 2401 but I am on a extreamly tight budget right now
I got a kawasaki, and returned it, Now I have a 225 and love it
Heres a update on the edger, so far it has been great, except for a few days the blades would not stop spinning, so the dealer took care of it, other then that this thing has been a freakin beast
