Red Mulch

    For all the red mulch haters , I happily report that my local John Deere nursery now stocks red mulch in bags - for when you only need a little . I love that stuff :)

    Ya, it looks really bad, in my opion, when it fades.

    Although I will say some people love that stuff, not me tho.

    I have one customer that likes it. I think because his wife thinks it looks good with the red shutters on the house.
    I have to go to a different supplier for the red, so it was extra cost involved. As long as the customer is happy.

    Yeah , I think all colored mulch fades pretty fast - the black bleaches out faster than the red . You can rake it to turn up nonfaded pieces , but it still never looks that good to me . I think that is why pinestraw mulch is so popular here.
