I have a 7001 blower and the on/off switch does not work.
If you turn it to off doen not shut off.
What is the process to fix the switch?

If this is a right hand model, then 99% of the time, the problem is a broken wire right at the shutoff switch in the handle. The wire is crimp fitted into a metal tab that hooks to the switch assy. Right there at the crimp, the wire has to make a sharp curve, and, the wire eventually breaks there. It may not be obvious that it is broken, as the insulation hides the break.
On the left hand models, usually the connectors for the shutoff wires get pulled apart. They are located in behind the fuel tank. They can pull apart, but look like they are still hooked up.
This connector setup is also on the righthand models, and the other 1% of the time, it is a loose connector problem on them, also.
