I need to know what size the trimmer head arbor is. I know its a left handed thread. I want to use a different head, not the one it comes with.

I'm pretty sure its not 20mm. 1 inch is 24mm. Its probably 8 or 10.

Yeah it's NOT a 20mm  It's either an 8MM or a 10MM as I just switched the head on a RedMax today as I prefer the SRM Echo heads because the sppols change out so fast.

how do you like the bcz3000 trimmer? I was looking at getting one. Right now I have a fs85 stihl. It should be a lot more powerful from the specs. How is the balance and power and all?

Redmax trimmers are heads above the Stihl trimmers!! No comparison!

    Arbor is 8mm x 1.25 LHM.

Have 2 BCZ3000's which they named, "The Beast".
Tears the grass & weeds a new hole. Power to weight is great.
    Clean running....not a stinky smell.
    Very good fuel ecomony.
Walks all over any 4 stroker.

The new black head is the easiest to wrap, and has a neat metal insert in the bump button for longer life.

    I'm almost positive it's a 10mm. The 2400s & 2600s are 10's.

The BCZ3000 is a beast. You will not bog this unit down. Great power, not bad on weight. Just like the BCZ2600 except that everything is just larger. One more cool thing. If you ever have to work on it, everything is quickly taken apart by the one torx size wrench that comes with the owners manual.
2 year commercial warranty. Stihl wont give you that.
