RedMax EBZ8001 problem

    Have tried loosening fuel cap & even taking it off on both while running. Didn't seem to make any difference so we assumed that the vent is ok

    Am going to the dealer in the am. Will ask about your problem and see if they have any other ideas.

    Dude, run all the tests in all of those videos you'll find your problem. Those videos are literally from redmax and it's their small engine diagnosis procedure....

    Thanks for the replies & also for the video links. The fuel filters are new & so are fuel lines. Have swapped fuel caps with same model good running units that we have and made no difference. Will try video suggestions that haven't already been covered. Hopefully new insulators arrive today

    Parts didn't arrive & too busy w/ leaf cleanups today. Nothing new to report yet

    Unfortunately you need an adjustable carb. Exactly this same situation occurred on Echo PB650 after unit was in field. Thankfully they released an adjustable carb. Made it easier to keep old units runn I ng.

    New insulator did not help. Gas is still blowing out the intake. As for an adjustable carb, anyone know an adjustable version of the Walbro wya-44 that would fit this setup?
