yes redmax makes the most powerful back pack on the market, but the thing is to heavy and i hate the side throttle. the stihl 6000 back pack is almost as powerful, half the weight and much much more comfortable. As far as chain saws, trimmers, etc.. i dont think the redmax compares..... what do you guys think??????

i used to run all redmax until stihl came out with the 4 stroke engines about 5-6 years ago, then they introduced the br600 which is a much better blower than the redmax 7001. needless to say i switched over everything from redmax to stihl and i will never go back. stihl is made better and all of their equipment feels like it was made with care and attention to detail. for chainsaws i have husqvarna though, husky's are the Cadillac of chainsaws

Meh..stihl..the difference in power is negligible...the difference in weight is huge...besides..orange matches my mower...
