Installed new piston, piston rings, coil, and plug. And it roars to life!!!

What do you guys think the break in period in a new piston is??

It never roared when I had it , it just lost power after running fine and I never was able to get it started again. It seemed harder to pull after it messed up.

Heres how I break in a 2 stroke. Never had any problems. On the first start, let idle til the engine is very warm. Shut it off and let it cool to the touch. Repeat this 3 times. Don't run it wide open and vary the throttle for the first tank of fuel. Keep an eye on the plug and check for a too lean condition. I'm sure everyone has an opinion on this subject! LOL!

I usually let them sit and idle for about 30 minutes. Then for the 1st 2 tanks of fuel I don't run them wide open. From there, I just go for it.
