I am thinking about relocating my business to Central, S. Carolina, and was woundering if any one knows anything about that area. Is it over run with landscapers and lawn services? Seems to be a good market to me but not too sure. I am closing down in Springfield, Ohio. There is a drought and too many little 18 & 19 year old BOYS here with DADDY'S CREDIT CARD, no lics. or ins. and charge way to little of a price to compete with them.:hammerhead: Still doing good in Pensacola and Dallas areas though. Could someone from this area in S. Carolina please give me some insight on the area?:cool2:

From what I read on here, South Carolina seems to get way less rain than Ohio, Pennsylvania, etc. South Carolina would not be an area I'd want to move to start a lawn care company.
Btw, that avatar of yours stinks! :nono: :waving:

Sorry that your a Steeler's fan!!! S. Carolina is getting much more rain than we are here in Western Ohio. Bad drought here, grass is all brown and starting to die off.

We are dry here as well. I would think the 18 and 19 year olds will weed themselves out. If the grass in not growing they won't be mowing and will find something else to do.
