I have a couple questions on what you guys would bid on this job:

*Removal of 6 Bushes (As seen the pictures)
*80 Sq ft of sod placed where the 2 large bushes by the driveway were
*Planting 7 yews in place of the 4 bushes in front of the window

    My costs would be:

    *7 yews @ $39.95/Each = 279.65
    *10 sq yds of sod @ 2.95/Yard = 29.50
    *1 yard of top soil = 10.00
*Dumping fees on the brush = 50.00
    sub total : 369.15
    tax: 22.15
    total : 391.30

What would ya'll charge for labor and mark-up on the plants? Any help would be great. Thanks!

Looks like about 10-12 man hours w/ a bobcat or dingo. Are you getting those plants for list price?

That's the retail price. I can get a wholesale price on them.

We did a job about that size yesterday with about the same $ in materials & charged $1350 for it. I don't know your labor costs but I had a 2 man crew there for 4 hours. I just posted the pics in the picture forum.
