I was given an old Hustler 2500/mdl#924993, ser#99053245, mid-mount 60" deck mower, with a 25hp Kohler vtwin motor. And only has about 640hours on it. The only problem with it is, it's missing the right side pump. The # for the pump I have is: 15-183 CCW A-99-15-16550 Sauer/sundstrand,p/n 077875.
I've been given some high prices-$1700- for OEM replacements, but I am trying to find an after market pump that will work for it for less. even something that will only last a few years. Although I expect a lot of work this season, I don't have a lot of money to throw around. Even if I can find a used or rebuilt OEM for less than half, I'll go for it.
the original mechanic stated that everything was running great when the pump went out. It's only been sitting a year or so, so it shouldn't take to much to get it running.
I would appreciate any and all help I can get for this project. Right now I'm using a Craftsman lawn tractor with a 12.5hp motor to mow the multi acreage jobs I have
