Plain and simple I have a POS 930m EFI that I have done nothing but put money into and it is still leaking A LOT of Oil like 1 quart every 2-3 hrs of use. I have 6 930m with carbs and I am fairly handy. I have replaced two motors in the 930m non EFI's in the past. I was wondering if anyone knows if it is as easy of a swap to go from an EFI to a carburetor motor as swapping carbed to carb with the exception of running new choke line?

You would need the wiring diagrams for both your unit and the new engine. Should have a modular plug the new engine that would have to be wired to the mower plug by changing wires. New engine probably will need a 12 volt wire run from the"on" wire at the ignition switch to the carburetor fuel solenoid. Saw a video on YouTube, Taryl Fixes All, he spliced wires on an engine swap that was slick. Good luck.
