I need to repower my 33" walk behind mower (Sutech). It has/had a 13 hp Briggs and Stratton Intek OHV engine (21A902-0184-E1 if interested) which served me well until yesterday. It is not a great mower but I don't it hard -- only for a few clients with fenced areas and gates. The rest of the mower is decent and the task of swapping doesn't bother me so repowering seems the best choice. My question is twofold:

    1) Would you recommend staying with B&S (best local price is $575) or would you use this as an opportunity to improve the mower with a different engine and if so, which one?

    2) I've seen prices online for $400-450 for the B&S. What online suppliers, if any, have you used and had good experiences with?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
