The Hunter Flow-Clik can offer shut down protection for high flow events. The Hunter Flow-Clik can be installed on the Hydrawise controller using a sensor input or by interrupting the common wire. You would need to install a Hunter Flow-Sync sensor on the mainline. The Flow-Clik can be programmed at a specified level to shut down system if high flow is detected.

Does the Flow-Clik do more than interrupt the irrigation until it gets manually reset? With a Hydrawise and just the flow-sensor, the alternative is to get a notification to your owner or contractor account.

Difference: Flow-Clik shuts off and prevents further irrigation. Flow-sensor causes an alarm, so it's possible to remotely stop the irrigation.

In any case, the owner or contractor needs to be notified so the situation can be fixed.

The Hydrawise Flow meter will alert to flow conditions, but if the user wanted a Flow Stop Feature that will shut the irrigation off in the event of a high flow condition, the Flow Clik is the best option. The Flow Stop can be set to shut off irrigation for a period of time or can be set to reset manually (meaning someone has to go to clock to restart).

If the Flow Clik is installed on the sensor terminals on the Hydrawise controller, user can see sensor status on Hydrawise Dashboard.

The Hydrawise Flow meter will alert to a zone with high flow and that zone can be shut off for a specified period and alert can be sent out. An alert can also be set up if no flow occurs. So, if user had both Flow Clik (with Flow-Sync on mainline) and the Hydrawise Flow meter installed, the user would get the flow stop (from the Flow Clik) for catastrophic breaks and an alert on flow conditions from Hydrawise App.
