Residential Lawns

    residential cuttings .25 acre lots. do you guys use riders or walk behinds?
    It seems to me that my rider gets complaints because its size its only 48"

    People don't care, just make sure you don't tear up the grass and you'll be fine. See which one would get the yard done quicker and use that.

    I use a 52" stander as much as possible and I know where this threads aheadin'.:rolleyes:

    52" Wright Stander on all residentials.

    People care a lot in our area no big units on that small of a yard. Customers complain that they are loud and believe too risky concerning damaging something. And they think it will compact the lawns. Even the riding 36" units don't seem to suit them. We went with the low profile 36" Sentar Sport in addition to our 36" WB and thus far no problem.

    Isnt this a trick question? How can you answer that for all lawns?

    On 1/4 acre lots I have used 21", 36", 48"

    All depends on the lot, some I had to carry a 21" to get to the lawn.

    Your in this businees to make money and do a service that's going to satisfy your customers. So if you have a few,that don't like the large Z.T.R mowers try to use a small W.B. :laugh:

    We use 60" lazers wherever they will fit regardless........
