respirator for concrete cutting

    can anyone recommend a good respirator for use while cutting concrete. Thanks

    I've had good luck using the disposable "coolmax" made by AO safety. They are much more comfortable, and work much better than the typical "cup style" mask. http://www.aosafety.com/aosafety.com/diy/resp_main.cfm?con_platform_id=2
    If you are looking for a non diposable type mask, AO makes some of those too, although I don't have any first hand experience with those.

    I noticed today as I put one of the masks on, that I gave you the wrong name....They are "Pleats plus" made by AO. I couldn't find them on their site but a quick google search came up with this. http://www.websoft-solutions.net/product_p/50250.htm

    They are kinda expensive, but They are leaps and bounds better than the "cup" style disposable.

    Home Depot also sells respirators that filter out dust.

    Thanks for the info Blk94fiveOh and sgallagher. I dont mind spending a few extra dollars to protect myself. Generally I wet cut when I can, but this particular project is going to involve alot of dry cutting of concrete.
