I don't spray for hire (only mow/blow), but had a question re Trimec.
Bought a container of concentrate last year at my local Fleet Farm.
Have mixed to spec and treated dandelions (my own yard only), in both spring and fall. Have had only mixed success, some dandy kill, but some aren't zapped. This does not seem to make sense to me, Trimec ought to do better than that.

Is there a difference in retail bought Trimec vs 'the good stuff'? Is the concentration of 2-4D different? Should I just mix my stuff stronger, or forget it and get a better concentrate for my yard?

i believe the retail stuff is a weaker concentrate of the commercial stuff. Pull the label for trimec online and compare. As for mixing rates, always go by what the label says.
