I have a job in southern maryland, eatern shore area (st. michaels). Our company doesnt do much work in this particulaer part of the state. we are about to do an install consisting of several different types of native trees. our client spoke to a nurseryman near his home and he advised not to plant any Rhodanii Beech until spring. he stated that it was due to high moisture levels in the soil. apparently, fall is too wet to plant with any success. problem is, the beech only comprise 3 out of 31 total trees to be installed. we will have a little over an hour and half drive to the site, not to mention the tolls for the tunnel and bay bridge. we do not want to come back down in the spring for three trees.

does anyone have any input regarding these trees and correct planting times. any advice would be most helpful and appreciated.
