    I installed a new diaphragm in a 1" Richdel valve-model #205.

When we turned the water on, the valve is leaking from the top of the valve at the screw although the screws are tight. I did not think there was water available to leak at the screws. I have not had a valve do this before.

The zone is off and all is well except for the water leak.

Did you line up the new diaphragm correctly?

    I sure thought I did.

I put the tab to the bottom as I thought that was how the old one came out.

    Thanks for the assist.

I cannot find a diagram of how the diaphragm is supposed to be installed in case I have it wrong. I need to repair this today.

Any help as to where to look for parts schematic or diaphragm placement is appreciated.

Just line up the holes. Nothing to it. Make sure the cover is properly seated, including the solenoid port 'protrusion'
