No problem. I just figured that with the correct spelling, people reading this thread can more easily google the stuff.
Creosote is pretty nasty, but that's also why railroad ties and telephone poles last so long in the ground. Regular pressure treatment is nothing in comparison.
I like how the topic creator says the former contractor is possibly incompetent, yet if the topic creator was competent......then this thread would not exist, now would it?

Well, at least he knows to ask questions before he gets in over his head and leaves the customer to clean up the mess.
My point is - lets not degrade others, at least until after you've been around the block a time or two.
