road salt resistant shrubs

    Got a call froma plowing customer state DOT salting killing his canadian hemlocks. Would like to replace them with something that would give privacy all year AND survive winters of road salt.

    Any ideas what to use?

    If it's in mostly sun then Japanese Black Pine.
