I have a robin nb 2050 and cant find parts anywhere for it any suggestions? Looks like an older makita trimmer

Where did you even get that? I have never heard of that brand.

Was on a local ad here in oregon along with 13 other brands of trimmers

Parts are most likely obsolete but you can try looking on Ebay. I garbage picked a Green Machine GT21 which was basically the exact trimmer you have there but green a few years ago and it was one of my favorite units for quite some time. The engine is only 20cc but it had a solid steel driveshaft so it was extremely light.
I stopped in at a dealer and they seemed to think everything was obsolete. The gas tank was dry rotted so I ended up somewhat rudimentarily attaching another small engine gas tank. I had to make an air filter out of a sponge, etc. If you need carburetor parts though, those are more than likely readily available if you can get the brand and numbers off of that.
