I am just wondering what effect rock salt has on plants. I have a bussiness that i planted Pansies at the main entrance and when the walkways are salted it all goes into the bed.Half of them look great and the rest look like crud. I am just curious. Thanks for your .02 cents.

it certainly wont help them any.It depends on how much salt actually gets in the beds and doesnt run off, that will be absorbed thru the soil.At this point I wouldnt feel responsible if they didnt make it-no warranty on those now.
