Anyone ever heard of a .... rounder L-600 skid steer by oakes mfg.
any info is appreciated
Just bought one. Oakes mfg. oakes north dakota. 16 hp onan twin. 2 belt driven hydraulic pumps. about 1750 lbs. with bucket.
I am having a hard time finding information on this skid steer.
any info you have would be appreciated.
I did get an owners manual with it but it is at my brothers house
hope this helps Thanks Gary
I am also interested in info on this machine
Usually I can't be much help, but for once perhaps I can be.
There is a google group for the Rounder, and they have a Owners manual and a Parts manual, for the L600 downloadable as PDF files.
I hope this helps.
aNYBODY KNOW WHERE TO FIND PARTS FOR A ROUNDER 600 SKIDLOADER? tHE PLACE IN nd WHERE THEY ARE MADE NO LONGER SELL PARTS OR MANUFACTOR THEM?
iF ANYBODY KNOWS WHERE THEY ARE AVAIBLE IF THEIR IS AN AFTERMARKET DEALER?
As far as I know, there is no aftermarket source of Rounder parts, but many of them are pretty common.
Many have B&S engines. The lift pumps are fairly common. One guy on the google group replaced his drive motors. Wheel bearings and seals are available at NAPA and probably about anywhere.
I've had one curl cly rebuilt. They all seem the same size.
The only thing I haven't heard of anyone replacing is the wheel motor control valves. OTOH, I can't believe OAKS Mfg. Co made them.
I have a few manuals for the L600 and L700 rounders. I also know of a couple L1000 rounders for sale. Let me know if you are in need of a manual. They are original and brand new. $30 and I'll ship them for free. Thanks
This is a bit of trip. Somebody from Jamestown. PM and we'll chat.
