Does anyone know of a routing software that will just turn a customer list into a route. I'd prefer to be able to dump an entire customer list into a program and have it sort it into an optimized route. Yardbooks for example needs a job to be created and then added to a route. It's a level of complexity I don't need.

The company I shovel for gives me a tablet with an app called FolloTrac. I have no idea what it requires to make a route, but it might have what you're looking for...

I tried Routific out a few years ago. I think it offered something along the lines of what you want.

Don’t you have to create a “job” in yard books in order to route it?

I would look into software for package delivery. All CRM for landscaping will require you to make a job.

This probably has much more than you need but when I was working I used something similar. It was pretty good as you could put in all the stops then number the sequence. Than, you could look at a total overlay and if 1 route had too many stops/capacity issue, it was easy enough to re-route to another route based on least out-of-the-way travel.

I didn't dig deep into this but looks like it is printable in advance. Also, if you can send to the crews, they may be able to enter arrive/depart times as well with live tracking.
