    I'm talking about landscaping bushes...

I've got a couple of properties with bushes that have runners EVERYwhere.

Even when I snip them all off, the next day, it looks like the bushes are completely overgrown again.

I was just wondering, do any of you use glyphosate on the runners to get them to die back??

    What else can be done??

    Thanks.

    PGR's. Primo Maxx, Embark, etc.

I got the whole PGR thing, but I've got a couple of properties where the bushes might as well be crabgrass.

The runners will pop up 7-10-24" from the actual bush, even beyond plastic edging and out into the actual turf.

The PGR will stop these runners from running out that far as well?? Or will it just keep the bush at somewhat the same shape??

Snipt them and spray with a burn down acid like 15% vinegar, or Scythe.

Sorry, I thought you meant the new growth. PGR's will help the shrub keep its shape.

    Really good advice...Not!

Try a PGR. They work great just read the label.
