Have read many threads about guys running doubles on there mowers? From what I have read some mowers seem to get better results than others. Just curious how they would run on a 48 inch wright stander with 19 horse kaw. Also what mowers out there do doubles work well on??? Thanks.

I run doubles on my 48' Stander in the fall every year. Gators over High Lifts. I notice a difference when I engage the blades, a little slower getting all that steel up to speed. I have a 22 hp Kohler on mine though.
My brother-in-law has a 52' Stander with a 19 hp B&S (I think, I'm sure it's not bigger than 19 hp) and he has no real problems running doubles.
Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.
There are dozens of threads on the subject if you want more particulars. Do a search and you can read all night about the pros and cons of doubles.
