everride warrior. machine has been sitting for a year.

there is rust in and especially around the opening of my hydro reservoir.

can this harm my system. i'm planning on changing the oil after about 1 hour then again at about 30 hours.

it's made out of steel. i don't think there is anyway of really cleaning it out it's welded shut.

    should i be concerned?

The oil flows through the filter before it touches the pumps. I wouldn't worry about it. Unless it A LOT of rust. Then the filter might plug and bypass. If its just a little corrosion from storage, don't sweat it.
