    hoping someone remembers what to do about rust in a yard, i have a customer who has that fine dust in there yard and im sure ive seen it here mentioned before, i did a search but for some reason the page wouldnt come up. thanx

    its a fungus called "rust". Without getting into the particulars its treated by adding a little nitrogen. I like a chelated iron in a 12-0-0 mix. It causes the grass to grow enableing you to cut off the fungus as it grows. Try a moderate watering if it is dry, and pick up the grass clippings rather than mulching them. That just spreads it
